Information about the demonstration
This demonstration introduces My Digital Assistant for mobile phones, the new application which will bring a personal virtual assistant into everybody’s Windows Phone. Myda is able to collect notifications about your appointments, tasks, emails as well as relevant social networking updates, and to organize and announce them with appropriate timing.
Myda, the avatar, is powered by H-care’s Face Engine, a carrier-grade text-to-avatar system, actually the front-end component of the Human Digital Assistant™ platform.
The avatar is created and rendered by H-care’s high quality 3D technology while the the voice is powered by Loquendo TTS.
The main features of the H-care’s Face Engine are:
- real-time rendering of a high-quality OpenGL 3D avatar
- accurate lip-syncing with TTS’s phonemes and emotional attributes
- facial animation with +60 facial movements and poses
- real-time audio/video encoding in 3GP for mobile or FLV for web/kiosks
- all of the above with scalability to thousands of concurrent users
- support for different languages with most diffused Text-To-Speech engines
- resolution from thumbnails to Full HD (1920×1080)
